Hosted telephony which is also sometimes referred to as cloud telephony or hosted VoIP is where providers host and manage your business phone system in a private data centre.

Hosted telephony uses cloud technology which removes the need for costly physical hardware onsite and analogue or ISDN telephone lines from phone providers; instead a business phone system is hosted remotely and connection via the internet.

The phone system becomes a piece of software rather than hardware.

Hosted works slightly different to landlines in the sense that you do not base it on the requirement of channels/lines, instead it is based on the number of users.  A license will usually come with a minimum of 2 non-current calls and a range of features as standard, some for small additional costs. A stable internet connection with SIP ALG disabled is vital for any type of IP telephony service so broadband also has to be taken into consideration with VOIP

Care levels

Care Levels are not applicable to hosted. Instead it could be considered "maintenance" and would be handled by ourselves
