ANALOGUE
An analogue line is a single copper cable that is run in to your building by your line provider. Analogue lines can be used as single lines or can be effectively spliced together to give you multiple lines that share the same telephone number. Analogue lines can also be used for other services such as:
-
Broadband (ADSL, fibre)
-
Redcare/alarm systems
-
Public lifts
We would only recommend using analogue lines for businesses that require 4 or less lines and companies that do not require direct dial numbers (DDI). Generally single analogue lines would be installed to accompany a service I.E broadband, redcare etc.
