Vodafone Messages For Mobile phone Vodafone Mail Messaging UK

 When your phone was connected to WorldNet, you were
 automatically set up to use Voicemail. If you have not used it for a while
 simply dial 1211 and the service will be re-activated at no cost.

 Retrieving Voicemail

 Your phone will ring you and announce how many messages you
 have and then play them back to you. You can check for messages
 at any time, or retrieve saved messages by dialling 121 from your mobile.

 What does it cost?

 There's no cost for setting up Voicemail - you just pay for the phone
 call when you use the service. You'll pay the same as a standard national
 call on most price plans, and voicemail calls are deducted
 from your inclusive voice minutes.

 Managing Messages

 Dial 121 then

      * Key 2 Repeat Message
      * Key 3 Delete Message
      * Key 4 Go To Last Message
      * Key 5 Return the phone call (if available)
      * Key 6 Next Message
      * Key 7 Save the Message for 7 days
      * Key 8 Obtain Date and Time for the Message
      * Key 9 List all these options

 Once you have listened to a message it will be remain in your
 Voicemail mailbox for 36 hours. If you wish to keep a message for longer,
 you can use the save option (key 7) to keep it for seven days.

 To listen to your Voicemail messages from another phone:

 Dial your mobile phone number then interrupt your greeting by
 pressing 9, You will hear a message asking you for your security code.

 Enter your security code and you will be able to listen to your messages.
 Please note - You will not be able to access your Voicemail
 in this way until you have changed your PIN number from the defult
 (see instructions on how to set a Security Code in “Using Your
 Voicemail Abroad” below).

 Personalising Your Mailbox

 Use the information below if you want to know how to:
    * Record your own Personal Greeting
    * Change the way you are notified of a new message

 Personal Greeting

 Recording your own greeting is simple, quick and free! You can
 alter it as often as you like, maybe even saying what you’re doing or
 how long you will be unavailable for.

 Dial 121 to access your mailbox

    * Key 3 for Personal Greetings.
    * Key 3 again to Record a Greeting or Change your
      existing greeting.
      Follow the instructions given to start recording,
      then just say what it is you want your callers to
      hear! Remember to save your greeting before hanging up!

 Change Message Alert

 There are three ways Voicemail can alert you that
 you have a new message: Alert and deliver message

 This is the default. Voicemail will call you when you
 have a new message. A recorded voice will tell you how
 many messages are waiting and then play them back to you.

 Text Message alert

 A text message tells you how many new messages you
 have and to dial 121 to pick them up. This is
 useful for times when you do not wish to be
 disturbed by your phone ringing.

 Voice ALert

 Voicemail will call you, a recorded voice will tell you
 that you have new messages and to dial 121 to pick them up.
 To choose how you would like to be notified of new messages:

 Dial 121 to access your mailbox

     * Key 4 for Mailbox settings
     * Key 3 for Message Notification options
     * Key 2 for Text Message
     * Key 3 for Alert & Deliver
     * Key 4 for Voice Alert

 Vodafone voicemail abroad
 Even when you’re away there’s no need to miss out on what’s happening
 back home. If you don’t want phone calls interrupting your holiday, why
 not divert all calls to voicemail? There will be no charge for incoming
 messages left on your Voicemail but you will be charged at the
 International Rate to listen to your messages. We will send you a text
 message when you have a new Voicemail so you can choose if and
 when you want to dial in and listen to your messages.

 To set up immediate divert

 Dial 1212 – we recommend you do this before travelling
 as you cannot set up this service from outside the UK
 You will need to set up a Security Code before you
 leave the UK to access your Voicemail from abroad

 Dial 121 to access your mailbox

     * Key 4 for Mailbox Settings
     * Key 2 for Mailbox Security
     * Key 2 again to enter a Security Code

 Choose a 4 digit PIN code, but remember it – if you forget
 it you won’t be able to access your mailbox!

 Dial 1213 to revert to your normal settings when you return to the UK.  Cancelling Voicemail

 Dial 1210 to cancel voicemail.
